ABOUT ORPHEUS GROUP CASTING: Orpheus Group Casting is a New York City-based company, established in 1987, to offer services in film, theater and television production. Founding partners, Maria E. Nelson and Ellyn Long Marshall (daughter of the late renowned performer, Avon Long), share over thirty years of proven professional experience, in all phases of the entertainment industry. ORPHEUS has made a commitment to help package, cast and produce independent film, theatre and television projects, featuring positive, multi-cultural themes. In 2009, Ms. Nelson and Ms Marshall, together with Andrei Campeanu ( another industry veteran ) formed a production company, Liberty Film Group, Inc., further empowering the pursuit of their commitments and cultural objectives.
