About Joe Soloway Joey Soloway is an artist, filmmaker and activist. They created the Emmy– and Golden Globe–winning series Transparent and cult feminist I Love Dick, both from Amazon Studios. Joey is currently working on The South Commons Experiment, a documentary about race, architecture and memory. They are also amidst development on way too many television and film projects that fulfill the Topple mission of elevating marginalized artists and their stories.

This conversation with be hosted by Julie Keck, Co-Founder OTV Studio.

About Julie Keck Julie Keck is a Chicago-based filmmaker and communications strategist. She is a co-founder of OTV Studio, an incubator for film, tv, and podcast projects by intersectional creators, alongside her colleagues Stephanie Jeter, Aymar Jean Christian, and Oscar Dang. Julie is also a consulting producer for Nia Tero, a nonprofit that uplifts Indigenous land sovereignty around the globe through policy work and storytelling. Julie studied psychology at Knox College and earned her Sustainable Innovation MBA from the University of Vermont’s Grossman School of Business, where she investigated the intersection of economics, sustainability, and ethics. She thinks strong storytelling and good business are intrinsically linked, and she'll talk your ear off about narrative sovereignty if you give her a chance. (You should give her a chance.)
