The 3rd Annual Cariño Festival de Cine is a free annual showcase of 10 short films created by emerging filmmakers (ages 13-26). The festival is dedicated to providing a platform for young filmmakers to share their unique perspectives on themselves, their communities, and the world.
Cariño Festival de Cine was created in honor of Zedrick "Cariño" Alfredo Aurelio. Zedrick, who passed away at the age of 26, after a long battle with adenoid cystic carcinoma. Cariño devoted his life to bringing people together and sharing his passion for the cinematic arts.
All films will be accessible in both English and Spanish (English films with Spanish subtitles, and vice versa).
